A ONE-OF-ONE LIVE EXPERIENCE
This is more than a regular concert, it’s a blend of performance art, electrifying drumming, fluid choreography, and cinematic original live compositions.
Nova Zaii invented the Nova Portals, an instrument to create sounds from thin air.
He has performed the invention for the likes of
Hermès, TEDx, Microsoft, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Kavi Gupta Gallery, San Francisco Jazz FEst, and more.
Live in A Reactive Reality
This performance is inside a virtual reality ‘CAVE’, with a custom-designed 3D audio-reactive environment using Unreal Engine and Ableton Live. This immersive experience is meant to provide the viewer with a synesthetic listening experience as Nova Zaii improvises live on drums and his patented ‘Nova Portals’, his invention that generates sound in reaction to hand motion. No CGI was used in post-production — only color-grading.
